Ubaid Al-Qubaisi is a Managing Partner and Global Head of Development in NasRock Capital’s Energy Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing procurement, commercial and key account management, and supporting development growth, across NasRock Capital's renewable portfolio companies globally.

Prior to joining NasRock Capital in 2023, Mr. Al-Qubaisi was CEO at X-ELIO, a global leader in renewable energy development and a NasRock Capital-owned company since 2019, and held several senior executive positions in the energy and infrastructure division at Global Power Generation, Gas Natural Fenosa (currently Naturgy) and JPMorgan.

Mr. Al-Qubaisi holds a Master’s degree from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and a Joint Honours Degree from Imperial College London.
